Overview

What Is a Corrugated Plastic Yard Sign?

A yard sign is a lightweight rigid sign made from corrugated plastic, a fluted sheet often called Coroplast. The flutes run through the sign so a wire H-stake slides right in, and the plastic shrugs off rain and sprinklers. It is the most affordable rigid sign for short and medium-term outdoor messages.

Built for Outdoors

Corrugated plastic does not soak up water or warp like cardboard, so signs stay flat and readable in rain and humidity.

Fade-Resistant UV Print

Full-color, high-resolution UV printing keeps colors bright and text crisp in direct sun.

Fast, Tool-Free Install

Add a standard wire stake to your order, slide the sign on, and push it into the ground. No tools needed.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about custom yard signs and corrugated plastic signs.

What is the standard yard sign size?

24" x 18" is the most common yard sign size for real estate, campaigns, and business signs. We also offer a compact 18" x 12" and a large 36" x 24".

What are yard signs made of?

Our yard signs are corrugated plastic, often called Coroplast. It is lightweight, water resistant, and has flutes that a wire stake slides into.

Do custom yard signs come with stakes?

You choose. Add a standard wire stake for $4.50 per sign, or select no stake if you already have frames or plan to mount the sign another way.

How do I put up a yard sign?

Slide the two prongs of the wire stake into the flutes at the bottom edge of the sign, then push the stake into the ground with your hands or a foot on the crossbar. Moist soil is easiest, so water hard ground first.

Should I get single or double sided yard signs?

Get double sided if the sign stands in open ground, along a road, or on a corner, so traffic sees it from both directions. Single sided works when the sign faces one way, such as against a wall or fence.

How much do custom yard signs cost?

Single sided signs are $15 for 18" x 12", $18 for 24" x 18", and $34 for 36" x 24". Double sided signs are $20, $24, and $48. A wire stake adds $4.50.

How long do corrugated plastic signs last outside?

Corrugated plastic does not rot or soak up water, and our UV-resistant inks resist fading, so yard signs hold up well for campaigns, listings, and seasonal promotions. Strong sun and wind over many months will eventually wear any sign.

Can I order yard signs in bulk for a campaign or event?

Yes. Order the quantity you need on the product page. For large runs or a mix of designs, contact us for help.

What should I put on a yard sign so people can read it?

Keep it to a short headline, one phone number or web address, and a logo. Use big, bold letters with strong contrast. Drivers have only a second or two to read it.

Do you make other rigid signs like PVC or aluminum?

Right now our rigid signs are corrugated plastic yard signs. For other outdoor signage, see our vinyl and mesh banners or ask us about your project.
