How Custom Upload Light Covers Work
A custom upload light cover is a photo print made for backlighting. You send the image, choose the fixture size, and we print it on translucent film that lays inside your fluorescent troffer on top of the existing diffuser. When the light is on, your image glows evenly from edge to edge.

Sharp, Backlit Print
Every cover is printed at a minimum of 150 DPI on 8 mil backlit film for clear detail when lit.

How to Prepare Your Image for a Sharp Print
We print at a minimum of 150 DPI, so the bigger your file, the sharper the cover. At 150 DPI, a full 2x4 cover (22.38 x 46.5 in) needs about 3,360 x 6,980 pixels, a 2x2 (22.38 x 22.38 in) about 3,360 x 3,360, and a 1x4 (11.12 x 46.5 in) about 1,670 x 6,980.
A 2x4 cover is a long rectangle, about twice as long as it is wide, so landscape and portrait photos both need some cropping. Vector logos in SVG, PDF, or EPS scale cleanly to any size. Check the proof to make sure nothing important is cut off at the edges.

What resolution does my image need to be?
We print at a minimum of 150 DPI. For a full 2x4 cover that is roughly 3,360 x 6,980 pixels. Smaller files can still print but may look soft.
What size are the light covers?
2x4 is 22.38 x 46.5 in, 2x2 is 22.38 x 22.38 in, and 1x4 is 11.12 x 46.5 in. For other fixtures, use a custom size cover.
How much does a custom printed light cover cost?

Can I see a proof before ordering?
Yes. The customizer lets you download a proof of your design before you complete your order.
Can I put a logo on a fluorescent light cover?
Yes. Logos are one of the most common uploads. Vector files (SVG, PDF, or EPS) give the cleanest edges.

Custom covers are printed and shipped within 2 business days. Because each is made to order, custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
Will this fit my LED light?
These covers are designed for fluorescent troffers. For flat LED panels, upload your design to a custom magnetic light cover instead.
