A fluorescent light lens is a printed film that is placed over a fluorescent ceiling light panel. Also known as ceiling light covers or fluorescent light covers, they come in sizes designed to fit standard fluorescent light panels. Some parents use fairytale or other story characters, and read the stories about them at bedtime. Installing a Fluorescent Light Lens

Installing a fluorescent light lens is not difficult. The thick printed film can be easily placed over the diffuser panel of an existing fluorescent lighting fixture. If you don't have fluorescent lighting panels in your child's bedroom, then get them installed. It's well worth the effort because your children will be delighted with the effect!

Once you have the lighting system installed, you will note that each light fixture has a diffuser panel to soften the harsh glare that fluorescent tubes tend to emit. All you have to do is unlock the frame of a panel (you may have to use a screwdriver) and lower it. In some cases, the panels just lift off. Place your light lens over the light diffuser, use a sweeping hand motion to flatten it to the diffuser, and replace the frame. Because the lens is not stuck to the panel, you can change the images displayed on your child's ceiling by changing the fluorescent light lens as often as you like.
